Jumplight Odyssey, maybe? If it is that instead of Starlight, that made my wishlist too because of Next Fest. Loved seeing Star Blazers as an inspiration and they did a good job with Armello. Though I'll never understand the games where an advertised feature is being able to pet an animal.
I like Next Fest a lot. I always feel like Steam should recommend more games like that to me than their usual recommendations of genres I don't play or enjoy.
