Knowing that mostly men play these video games and having them out there in order to "reduce sexual violence" in the world just....doesn't add up to me as a woman. Just feels unsafe- oh yeah, I wanna rape, hurt and kill women but ONLY IN FANTASY video GAMES! That makes it so much better, right? I get the popularity of rape fantasies and the like, but these fantasies stem from a society not letting women express themselves and encouraging men to be forceful and or bottle up their emotions.
Thank you for your bringing your perspective to this topic. I appreciate that these games are not for everyone, but I think it's important to keep in mind that sensible adults can separate fact from fiction. There's sexual violence in many stories we tell, including in books, plays, songs, and movies. Why can't games be used to explore these themes as well? That's what I believe the maker of Ravager was getting at as well.
Really wholesome emotional game with well written story and characters, definitely a recommend.
